PhD students Regan M. Johnston and Anwar Mohammed, along with their supervisor, Dr. Clifton van der Linden, have published a new research note in Politics & Gender which explores the gendered implications of COVID-19 in relation to child care.They find that stay-at-home policy measures in Canada and Australia have dramatically exacerbated existing gender inequalities around child care obligations.
