This talk explores the evolving concept of posthuman citizenship as part of an ongoing project on political posthumanism. Moving beyond anthropocentric, dualist frameworks, I engage with the onto-political implications of extending political agency to nonhuman entities, such as animals, AI, and ecosystems. I will discuss how rethinking citizenship through a posthuman lens challenges conventional boundaries of rights mediation, political agency, and responsibility, without diminishing political responsibility at individual and societal levels. This approach offers new perspectives on the politics of inclusion, addressing intersectional, complex, and multi-layered struggles of citizenship.
