OLIP is a ten-month, paid non-partisan internship where recent graduates get to work with government and opposition MPPs.
Aspects of the Programme:
- Two Placements: With MPPs from government and opposition parties
- Study Tours: Learn about different types of governance by visiting other legislatures
- Meetings: Meet and network with current politicians, public figures, political staffers, and others
- Committees: Chair and vice-chair internal OLIP Committees to ensure the programme runs
- Research Papers: Write an academic research paper and present your findings at the
- Canadian Political Science Association conference
